What this policy covers
This policy applies to this website only. It describes the information collected when you use the enquiry, careers and partner forms, and what happens to it afterwards.
Information we collect
We collect only what you type into a form and choose to send. We do not build profiles, and we do not buy or sell contact data.
- Quote enquiries: your name, company, phone, email, pickup and delivery locations, and any load details you provide.
- Job applications: your name, phone, email, the role and location you are applying for, your experience, and a résumé file if you attach one.
- Vehicle partner registrations: your name, company, phone, email, vehicle base location, vehicle types and routes.
Our servers also process your IP address briefly, purely to limit how many submissions can be made from one connection and prevent automated abuse. It is not stored alongside your enquiry.
How we use it
Submissions are sent to USS by email so that we can respond to you. We use your details to answer your enquiry, quote your requirement, consider your application, or assess a vehicle partnership — and for nothing else.
Who else sees it
Form submissions are delivered through a third-party email provider acting on our instructions. The website is hosted by our hosting provider, which processes requests in order to serve the site. We do not share your information with any other third party for marketing purposes.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics. Fonts are served from this website itself rather than an external font service, so simply visiting a page does not send a request to any other company on your behalf.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and applications are retained for up to seven years, so that we can respond to them, service any resulting business relationship, consider applicants for future requirements, and meet the record-keeping periods that apply to a transport business. Information is deleted at the end of that period, or earlier if you ask us to.
